Special orders
You can place a special order if you are looking for an icon with a subject which we don't have in stock.
Whilst our range of icons is extensive we don't sell all the subjects that can be found in the Orthodox iconographic tradition or in all styles.
If the icon you want is not in the online store or not in the dimensions you desire, we are happy to quote you a price and lead time and source it for you should you choose to make the purchase.
Typically, there is a six - eight week period from the time the order is placed to the time it will be delivered.
Full payment is required prior to the placement of the order.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat $10 fee per icon you've ordered or where in Australia they're going.
How is my order shipped?
We use Australia Post's Mypost business service which is a fully trackable door to door service. If there's no-one home a card will be left and your delivery will be held at the nearest local post office.
When will my order arrive?
Whilst we endeavour to get all orders out of our shipping room within 24 hours this can sometimes take slightly longer during peak periods such as Christmas. Once collected by Australia Post major cities are generally 2 - 3 days (Perth is at least five days) with rural and regional areas taking a couple of days longer.
I'm outside Australia - can I buy from Byzanticon?
Yes you can however we'll need to quote you postage options before you place your order as the flat rate shipping within Australia doesn't apply. If you'd like to place an order for delivery outside Australia please email us at Byzanticon@internode.on.net with a list of the items you'd like and the address you'd like them sent to and we'll get back to you as fast as we can with a quote.
Can I track my delivery?
Upon dispatch you will receive tracking details so you can check on your delivery as it hurtles towards you.
What do I do if my parcel is damaged on arrival or the item is incorrect?
Whilst we endeavour to pack all goods safely and securely occasionally accidents happen. In the event of receiving a faulty or broken item, please contact us immediately to discuss its replacement by either phoning 0412 103 076 or emailing Byzanticon@internode.on.net
Payment
We accept payment by Credit Card and Paypal.
Payment is collected from your account upon immediate receipt of your order from our web store. If using a Credit Card to pay, all credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Byzanticon, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We take all reasonable care to make our site as secure as we can make it. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Furthermore, we will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.
